Change of Address Cards

A pile of change of address cards, ready to go in the envelope and be mailed out!
Simple card, you can't really tell in the picture but the whisper white cardstock is textured with the big shot.

The inside of the card. The stamp said, We moved our doorstep, so I took a picture of them infront of our new door.

Moved in and Moving On!

Our new Doorstep!
We moved our doorstep! We are finally settled into our new home! This has been six rough months and this summer was CRAZY. We spent the first two weeks after school ended enjoying the sun, surf and sand in South Carolina.

Here are the kids on the beach Fourth of July waiting for the fireworks to start.

After we got back from our vacation it was game on! I cleaned, painted, packed and moved, all with the help of my good friends. My good friends have strong backs and good spirits. After weeks of moving, cleaning, etc we were mostly settled into our new place.

The first week in August we lost my grandfather Paul E. Hicks Jr. I was honored to deliever his eulogy at his funeral mass. It was a long week for all of us, my sister and her family were here from Texas. The kids went to the service and Jackson came with Mike and I to the wake as well. I can't believe how grown up my Jack is getting. He said goodbye to his great-grandpa with compassion and grace. Jackson was the oldest great-grandchild and I was the oldest grandchild. Pop has joined the love of his life who he has missed everyday since she left this world so there is comfort in that they are together. He would have been 90 years old October of this year.

Since we were all in town we took the time to take a few pictures of the family. This is my family and my sister's family in my parents front yard!
This is all of us including my parents.
The rest of the summer has been playing catch up and getting ready for school to start. I am working on my change of address cards and getting my stamp studio in order to start my creating again. I am so hoping to be able to get my blog full of cool stuff you want to make and create!

Madeleine's Birthday Invite

This is Madeleine's 5th Birthday Invite. She's having a Hello Kitty Birthday. I got a great deal on the Sixxox dies for my Big Shot!

Where have I been?

Today, Mike and I have been married 13 years! Yeah for us!

If you haven't heard the news, my husband and I bought a new house. That means for the past few months we have been clearing out our current house. Two Dumpsters and a Storage Room full of stuff has left the premises. We have repainted and repaired and shined up our house so that we can put it on the market. That means that my Stamp Studio has gotten packed up and stored away. It was in what should be the Formal Living Room and really didn't help in presenting the house for sale! I am trying really hard to squeeze projects, it's just easy!

Stamp Club Projects

This is a May Club Card. It uses Summer Sun, Pacific Point, Whisper White and Good Morning Sunshine DSP. I love this Stamp Set it's called Good Friend.

This great dress card is made with the Large Scallop Sizzox Circle using Raspberry Tart Designer Paper.

Here is my token man card. I love this Totally Tool Stamp Set. I colored the tools in with Stampin Write Markets.

This great Sheep was an April Club Card. He made with punches.

This card is made with the 24-7 Stamp Set. I love this elegant Stamp Set.

Scrap Weekend

This was a picture from our June Disney Visit, I can't believe it has been almost a year since we were in Disney.

I spent last weekend with my friend Deb at an Overnight Scrapbook retreat. I managed to do about 25 pages. Many of them still need the journalling but for the most part are finished. I miss my scrap room which has been put into storage on a temporary basis why we sell our house.

More Ariel in her Grotto from June 08.

How I love the cricut. Look at those great letters!

Can you tell Maddie and I have matching dresses?

It was Star Wars Weekend, Star Wars has not been easy to scrap but I think I found my groove with it. I have so many more pictures I have to really start looking for cool space paper.

The Star Wars Parade.
Tea at the Grand Floridian Hotel. Not the the $200 one the $40 version.

Maddie when she was just one! She is going to be 5 this year!

My sister and I in Boston last summer.

Maddie and I running on the beach a few summers ago!

We caught Tinkerbell first thing one morning in Disney.
