My Meeting Make and Take

This is the Make and Take I put together for the Inkett Meeting. It uses the Big Birthday Candle stamp set and the designer series paper and the word window. It is a cute candy holder.

June Club Samples

This pop up card should look familiar it is another copy of MJ Farney's card that I posted earlier in the month. I changed the inside a little and added a wheel on the outside but the idea is all MJ.

How cute is this, it uses DSP and a scallop punch to make the cute bug!

I couldn't resist this card, it's been done all over the blogs, but I wanted to show it off too!

The Star Book

This is the book closed. It is made with a Stampin' Up! simply scrappin kit. This shows off the over.

This is a close up of the star points, it really shows off the decorative paper.

Top view so you can see the star. I made this last night, it really easier than it looks. I did not embellish it with the self adhesive die-cuts from the kit. I am going to wait until I add the pictures. It really came out nice. To create this book you need a roll of sticky strip and a simply scrappin kit. You will have some paper, embellishments and adhesive left over after you finish the book.

Swaps Galore

Okay, I have been so busy with stuff I am so glad I now have a few things to show off! These are the 50, yes Fifty swaps I made for technique swap I am in with the NY Inketts. They should look really familiar I copied them from MJ Farney one of my inspired stamping friends.

Such a cool idea!

This is a great stationary set, It includes notecards, gift enclosures & gift tags plus a place for stamps and notes all enclosed in this cool box! I have had a hard time with this pick a petal stamp set but I am starting to get the hang of it and it is growing on me. Pun totally intended! I wish I could take credit for this but I copied the pattern from another blog. Look for an upcoming class so you too can create this awesome gift!

Teacher Gift

This is one of the gifts I made for Dylan's 1st Grade Teacher. I brought it in to school today. I snapped this picture on the fly and have to say it came out so good. It is a great candid of the kids getting ready for rug time and they all look great and the teacher looks so fabulous!

Madeleine's Thank You's

These were Madeleine's Thank you notes, they were WAY, WAY easier then the Belle on invites. The pieces were bigger and easier to keep track of and the machine cut them smoother. I made them Monday night so Madeleine could hand them to her friends at Preschool on Tuesday. She loved playing mailperson!

Father's Day Cards

These are the Father's Day cards I CASED off another blog. I can't remember where I saw them or I would show you the original. I used leftover designer paper from a Simpy Scrappin Kit and the Father's Day Stamp from our Current Catalog. I thought they came out really nice. I sent them off to the Dad's this week.

Really, I have been that busy

Hey there friends,

I think I have caught you up with where I have been the past two weeks. I have been to NH for a graduation party, ballet for Mads, ballet pictures for Mads, I hosted the Cub Scouts for a Video Game Party, Hosted 3 events for Mads birthday, played in a golf league and so much more.

I am working on swaps for an Inkett Swap here and swaps for Convention in SLC, Utah in July, but at the moment have nothing to show for my efforts! Check back on Monday, I am hoping to have some samples to show then, we shall see, the pool is calling today and so is the mulch!

NY State Day 4th Grade

NY State Museum - 9/11 Exhibit

This was the Firetruck from Ladder 6 from the Twin Towers on 9/11. It is part of a very moving exhibit at the NY State Museum. It really brings it all back and reminds you how precious life and our freedom is. I walked the exhibit with Jackson and we looked at all the items and read all the displays. I am not sure what the impression he walked away with but I was very moved and humbled.

This is a display they have of the Newspaper Headlines from 9/12.

The Field Trip

Beautiful view from the Hudson River of Albany, NY
