Happy Monday

Hope everyone had a good weekend! I did, Saturday was a wash out. I just didn't want to leave my house and venture out into the downpour here in the Northeast. I spent the day in my Stamp Studio and watching TV. I watched "We are Marshall" for the first time and really thought Matt McConaughey was good in it, his portrayal of the coach was well done. I recommend it, but just note the beginnning is like watching the movie Titantic, you know the ship is going to sink the whole time, this movie you know in the beginning that the plane is going down.

Sunday we celebrated Grandpa Dick's birthday, his actual birthday is Wednesday so we were a little early. He is turning 68, but he doesn't look or feel a day over 49.

Madeleine decided she wasn't an outdoor girl, Grandma Margi questioned her sparkly shoes as an outdoor shoe, sadly Grandma was right, they were not right for a walk in early March. Half way through the walk Grandma had to swap hats with Madeleine and despite, Grandma's hat, mittens, a scraf & a long wool coat, Madeleine decided she wasn't up for the fresh air. The boys stuck it out with Grandma for a while, but Jack also managed to slip back in the house after a while. Grandma has hope in Dylan, he managed to stay outside in the brisk March air for awhile! Madeleine had a hard time sharing Grandma with her brothers, she wanted Grandma to come back inside to play Mrs. Potato Head and Barbie with her.

I am working on my last Club project today! Have a great day!

Two out of Three for March

This is my second Club project for March. It showcases the sticky cut letters and the Fine Como glitter.

A basket, A basket

A very quick and cute basket for spring. It is made with a 12 x12 piece if paper. Instead of stamping the sides of the basket I decorated the panels with Flowers for You Designer Paper. I filled it with paper straw and have yet to finish it off with goodies yet, but I will.

A little glitter adds so much!

This is an Easter/Spring card I have been working on. It uses the Good Egg stamp set and some of Stampin' Up! Flowers for You Designer Paper. I love, love, love the color combo!

How stinkin' cute is this?

How cute is this little guy? He is just tooooo cute for me. I found him on another blog and just had to try to make him this morning! I so can't take credit for his design.

This is the blog I found our friend on: http://pickledpaperdesigns.blogspot.com/ Amy Sheffer put him together from parts of others who inspire us all! I filled my little guy's pot with gold bricks (hershey nuggets) because I didn't have any gold coins on hand.

Luck of the Irish

I started my St. Patrick's Day cards today. I only made 10 to send out. I laughed at myself. I really didn't have much to work with. With the help of a retired set that had clovers in it, green paper and my computer I was able create this nice greeting. Inside the card is an Irish Blessing that I typed up and printed on the inside of the card before I cut the paper to size. I used the direct to paper technique on the card front and used my computer to type the greeting since after much looking I realized I did not have a St. Patrick's Day stamp. Ribbon, like glitter makes everything better!

SALE A BRATION

This is card I did for the Splitcoaststampers challenge Card Sketch Wednesday Challenge. I used the new SaleAbration Stamp set Friendship blooms. It really is a pretty springish card. The color combo is one of my favorites: Apricot, Celery and Regal Rose. I used the Paisy background too on the Regal Rose piece.
